Unlike Block Templates (which are individual page sections you mix and match), a Site Template is your starting point. Install it, swap in your own content, and you have a website.

What's a child theme?

In WordPress, a child theme inherits all the functionality and styling of its parent theme — in this case, Kadence. The Site Template adds its own custom design, pages, and settings on top.

The benefit: when Kadence receives an update, your child theme stays intact. Your customizations will not be overwritten, and you keep full compatibility with the Kadence ecosystem.
