Page Building Templates

Learn how Page Building Templates help you assemble complete Kadence-powered pages from reusable, responsive sections.

What are Page Building Templates?

Page Building Templates are professionally designed, fully responsive page sections for building complete websites with Kadence. Each template is a self-contained section — a hero area, a cards grid, a testimonial slider, an FAQ accordion — that you insert into any page and customize with your own content.

The idea is simple: instead of designing every section from scratch, you pick a template, drop it in, swap your text and images, and move on. Every template is built to look great on desktop, tablet, and mobile, so you avoid manual responsive tweaking.

Who are Page Building Templates for?

Page Building Templates are for anyone building a website with Kadence. Whether you are working on a home page, a landing page, a service page, or an about page, Page Building Templates give you the sections you need to assemble complete, professional pages fast.

They are especially useful if you want proven, conversion-focused layouts without spending hours on design and responsive adjustments. Combine multiple templates to build an entire page, or insert a single section to enhance an existing layout.

How to use Page Building Templates

Page Building Templates are designed to be mixed and matched so you can build pages from modular sections.

A typical page might combine several templates like this:

  1. Hero section at the top — first impression, headline, CTA

  2. Logo Gang below — trust signals, partner logos

  3. Content section — introduce your offering with text and images

  4. Cards section — showcase services, features, or team members

  5. Testimonials — social proof to build trust

  6. FAQ section — answer common questions

  7. CTA section — final conversion nudge

  8. Footer — wrap it up

Each section is independent, so you can reorder, remove, or replace any of them without affecting the rest. When you use them together with KickStarter, your page keeps a consistent responsive foundation and visual language from top to bottom.

Available template types

Use these template types as building blocks for your pages. Each type contains multiple layout variants that you can drop into any Kadence-powered page.

Hero Sections

Hero Sections are the first thing visitors see, so they are designed to make an impact. Choose from full-width background image heroes, split-screen layouts with text and imagery side by side, image carousels for showcasing multiple visuals, and designs with built-in social proof elements such as logo carousels, star ratings, or trust badges.

Some hero templates include overlapping typography effects for an editorial look, while others feature integrated CTAs and opt-in areas to capture leads or clicks immediately.

Cards

Cards are one of the most versatile template types. Use them anywhere you need to present grouped content in a clean grid — services, team members, features, portfolio items, or product highlights.

The library includes standard card grids, interactive cards with hover effects (image blur and content reveal), flip cards, scroll-triggered stacking animations, and ribbon badges for highlighting specific items. Team-specific variants with photo and bio reveal on hover are available as well.

Content Sections

Content Sections form the backbone of most pages. They include split and full-width layouts that combine text with images or galleries.

You will find classic two-column layouts, full-width text sections with background treatments, and gallery-integrated variants. They are designed to be stacked, so you can use multiple content sections in sequence to walk visitors through your story or offering step by step. Some layouts include ribbon or badge elements for awards, certifications, or key selling points.

Testimonials

Testimonials templates focus on social proof, which is a strong conversion driver. The library covers simple quote-based layouts, multi-column grids, carousel sliders for cycling through reviews, and larger featured blocks that give a single review extra emphasis.

There is a dedicated Google Reviews template that mimics the familiar Google review card style. Some variants support dynamic data so reviews can update automatically.

Call to Action (CTA)

CTA templates are focused, single-purpose blocks designed to drive a specific action, such as signing up, booking a call, or buying now. They include prominent buttons, dedicated copy areas, and layouts that visually stand out from surrounding content.

Place CTAs between content sections as a conversion break or at the bottom of a page as the final nudge toward your primary goal.

FAQ Sections

FAQ Sections use expandable accordion layouts so visitors can scan questions and open only the ones they care about. This keeps pages clean and scannable even when you answer many questions.

Well-structured FAQ sections also benefit SEO, because search engines can index the question-and-answer format as structured data.

USP Sections

USP Sections highlight what makes your business or product stand out. They typically combine icons, short headlines, and brief descriptions in multi-column layouts that communicate key benefits at a glance.

Some USP templates include animated elements or parallax scrolling effects for extra visual interest while keeping the focus on your core selling points.

Timeline

Timeline templates display events, milestones, or process steps in chronological order. They are available in vertical and horizontal layouts, so you can choose what fits your content and page width best.

Use them for company history, project milestones, onboarding steps, or product roadmaps when you want to show progression over time.

Pricing Tables

Pricing Tables provide comparison layouts for displaying plans or packages. They support feature checklists, highlighted recommended plans, and prominent CTA buttons so visitors can clearly see differences and decide which option fits them.

Layouts are structured for clarity and conversion, with visual emphasis on the primary plan where you want most signups.

Logo Gang

Logo Gang templates showcase partner logos, client logos, technology badges, or other trust signals. They are available as static grid layouts and animated carousel versions that cycle through logos automatically.

Logo sections are especially effective directly below the hero or near testimonials to reinforce credibility.

Lists

Lists templates provide structured layouts for itemized content such as features, benefits, included services, or comparison points. They go beyond plain bullet points with styled icons, separators, and clear visual hierarchy.

Choose from vertical and horizontal formats depending on whether you want a scannable column or a row of benefits.

Global styling support

All Page Building Templates are built to work with global CSS variables, especially when paired with KickStarter. This lets you control the look and feel of your entire page from a few central settings.

When you update your global styles, templates respond automatically:

  • Change your fonts or font sizes once in the Customizer and all templates update.

  • Adjust your border radius and all cards, images, and containers update.

  • Update your color palette and all templates reflect the new colors.

  • Modify your spacing tokens and all sections adjust proportionally.

Instead of editing every section individually, you rely on global styles to keep everything consistent.

Free, Pro, and Special

Every template is marked as Free, Pro, or Special so you know what is included with your plan:

  • Free — Available with any plan, including the free Free Fallin' collection. A good way to try things out.

  • Pro — Included with all paid plans (Start Me Up, Thriller, I Want It All). These form the core of the library.

  • Special — Only included in Thriller and I Want It Allplans. These often feature more advanced designs with animations, custom CSS effects, or unique layout techniques.

Good to know: Some Pro and Special templates require Kadence Blocks Pro to work correctly. If a template does not render as expected, check whether it needs the Pro version of Kadence Blocks.
